Amen, brother! I’ve been right there with you… even longer… from my first Senators game in ’68 to their last in ’71, from the first Nats game in ’05 to the present! I see your smiling mug on TV from time to time. Saw Charlie there loving life on Monday. Winning teams do amazing things for this city… the Bullets in the ’70s, Redskins in the ’80s, the Caps under Ted, and now the Nats. Can’t WAIT for some post-season baseball in the Nation’s Capital. Go Nats!

I agree! I’ve always said, I think it’s funny how the terminology changes and there’s a new buzzword, but often it’s just the same thing under a different name. “Social Media” is all the rage, but people in communities have always wanted to talk to other people with similar interests. Before the internet, it was done over the neighbor’s fence or in a local club or ballgame. Steve Case & AOL invented online communities, message boards and chat rooms over a decade ago. Today’s social media is the exact same thing, just enabled with different technology, via different devices. A decade from now, it will be a new buzzword for our holographic community broadcasts, but we’ll still talking in the same communities about the same interests…..
